I Can't Let You Fall!

Copyright ©2007 Jimmy Bairagee

I'm not sad initially,
But it makes me sad to see you suffer.
I just want to share your pain,
Just to make things better.

I'm in the dark, I wish I knew,
How to spark a light for you.
Like a Lone Bird sitting on a wire,
To sit by you is my desire.
I've got a smile that I could spare,
Spare this smile N' take you there,
Higher than that lonesome wire,
High above the clouds to a sky on fire.
You try so hard to keep that frown,
Along with you, you bring me down.
Grasp your hand N' I swim harder,
For a friend I'd gladly be a martyr.
I'd die for you if it meant you'd live,
Gladly my life I would give.
Turn to dust you start to scatter,
I'll take your ashes N' place on a platter.
I care too much to let you fall,
I'll fix you up bones N' all.
Doesn't matter how long it takes,
When you don't smile my heart breaks.
This chill I feel has got me cold,
Love your smile more than solid gold.
Melt this frost please off of my head,
Don't be sad please smile instead.
Fake it if you must fake it if you will,
When I smile for you it's always real.
So, I've got a smile that I could spare,
Spare a smile that could take you there.
Higher than your lonesome state,
Take your time baby, I can wait!
