Locked up inside my head,
I see the world pass me by!
Can’t breathe from choking,
I can’t escape, no matter how hard I try!
Where do I turn for comfort?
How do I find my peace?
If there is no other way for solace,
I guess I’ll have to settle for that sweet release!
It’s a prison in this place,
Oh my head, Kills me Dead!
Can’t find its reasons, can’t find no trace,
So I close my eyes instead,
Yurning for solace only found, on pillows of that eternal bed!
Once in a while I see some light,
Creeping in through the bars,
I’m locked in a cellar shut so tight,
Intoxicated by misery, for comfort I rub salt to my scars!
Where do I turn for comfort?
How do I find my peace?
If there is no other way for solace
I guess I’ll have to settle for that sweet release!
It’s a prison in this place,
Oh my head, Kills me Dead!
Can’t find its reasons, can’t find no trace,
So I close my eyes instead,
Yurning for solace only found, on pillows of that eternal bed!
